Why rent?

There are a vast number of cheap inferior quality instruments flooding the market these days that seem a sensible and inexpensive option to someone starting for the first time, unsure if they'll want to continue - puting an instrument of dubious quality in the hands of a student will certainly inhibit progress and may at worst cause them to give up completely - often the case in our experience.

Our low cost rental scheme allows you to try a good quality student or intermediate instrument interest free for three months. All our instruments have also been fully set-up and play tested giving you the best possible chance of success.

How do I start renting?

Just come into the shop with 2 of the following forms of ID (one with a photo)

• Current driving licence or passport
• Recent utility bill
• Choose your instrument from our range of new, pre-owned and ex rental instruments
• Fill in our rental agreement form
• Pay by credit or debit card

How the scheme works

The initial minimum rental period is 3 months paid in advance – after that you may either continue with quarterly rentals, return the instrument,

purchase it outright or upgrade to a better quality instrument.

100% of fees paid can be offset against the cash price if you purchase at the end of the three month rental period.

75% of fees can be offset against the cash price if you choose to purchase anytime at all after the initial 3 month rental period.

50% of all rental fees paid can be transferred to the purchase of a higher quality instrument, payments are taken automatically every quarter – a reminder is sent by email at the beginning of the month that payment is due.

You can purchase at any time but after 24 monthly payments the instrument is yours.

You can cancel the agreement at any time after the initial 3 month rental period. Although payments are taken quarterly you will be refunded for every full calendar month after the return date.

We are a specialist shop with many years combined professional experience. We are always available to help and happy to give advice. All of our instruments come to you having been fully checked and set-up in our on-site workshop – many students give up due to inferior quality and poorly set up instruments, we take great care to select instruments we feel offer best value and quality in any given price range.

All instruments are guaranteed for one year – any problems, we have repairers on site. Set-up adjustments are free during the rental period.

All instruments sold or rented through us receive an ongoing 10% discount on set-up and other workshop charges. We believe our rental scheme is one of, if not the best and most flexible around, giving you the option to continue renting, return or buy the instrument at any time.
